Pirá Lodge
The establishment of Pirá Lodge in the Iberá Marshland has generated the possibility of fishing on clear water to target the freshwater Dorado, with fly-rods or light pinning tackle, and plenty of opportunity for sight casting. Traditional saltwater streamers and deceivers in black, purple chartreuse and white complete the required gear. At Pirá Lodge, you will be fishing in the unique Iberá Marshlands, one of the most fascinated wetlands in the world.
3.500.000 acres of unexplored and uninhabited marshland in the Northland corner of Argentina will be the setting for some of the most exciting fishing you have ever experienced. The swamps are the home for more than 350 species of birds, 85 mammals and almost 70 reptiles, including mayor populations of Marsh Deer and South American Cayman. The Marsh is a vast system of non-polluted crystal-clear creeks, rivers, shallows, and lakes covering an area roughly 2.5 times larger than the Florida Everglades. You will spend your days here in state-of-the-art Hell’s Bay flats skiffs exploring this enormous expanse. Pirá is set apart from other Dorado fishing lodges because of its superior accommodations, knowledgeable staff and strategic location on the shore of the Iberá Marshland.
